Hello, I'm gay and I'm in love with my best friend. He doesn't know that I'm gay and I'm not certain about his sexual orientation (he says that he's straight like me, but he's nerd and never kissed a girl, we are both 18). Should I talk to him? Hello Walter From my experience, honesty is the best policy. True friends respect each other opinions. However, you have created a false appearance about your sexuality. Maybe you should tell him that you are gay and leave it at that! After-all, he is your best friend and if you lose him, well then you know the answer. But I am sure you will not! Some boys develop late and boy do they blossom, i know i was one of them..so rest assured just eat healthy, be honest and let the wind blow in your hair, you have great youth, don't waste it worrying about what you should be doing with him...

It is alright if u tell him abt ur feelings towards him but u must not expect the same in return. Letting him know about ur sexual preference and rather a genuine action but let ur friend take a call. Just leave it upto him to decide the further course of action. You are still young and must not let setbacks affect u so much that u fail to move on. There is always a next time n if ur friendship is genuine then I have mo doubt that he will understand.
